Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai emphasized the importance of raising awareness about the increase in Covid cases worldwide and the spread of the Omicron sub-variant BF.7. At a cabinet meeting held on Monday, Bommai stated that the government will implement preventive measures gradually in order to minimize disruption to daily life and economic activity.
