Phase-II of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) includes tourism, information technology, industry and agriculture in the CPEC and will be completed by 2025. The CPEC Authority is moving towards generating affordable electricity, not big dams. Not only will it be beneficial for agriculture but it will also help in the promotion of hydraulic power generation. On the other hand, major Chinese companies are taking interest in corporate farming. The purpose of establishing CPEC Authority is to be in one place under one window operation. In collaboration with all the Ministries, Provinces and Institutions, the CPEC projects need to be taken forward in a better way so that the companies can be facilitated by providing all the facilities in one place.
After the completion of the projects, the investors in Pakistan have gained so much satisfaction that Pakistan ranks second in Asia in terms of investment. Under CPEC Phase 2, Pakistanis have got 1200 jobs and thousands of investment opportunities, in phase two we will see so much progress that Pakistanis would not have imagined.
