Discover the spectacular landscapes of the Verdon Gorge and Lake Sainte Croix, located in the south of France. Lake Sainte Croix is famous for its unique crystal-clear, turquoise waters. It stretches over a surface of 2200 hectares (10 km long and 2 km wide). It is now a major tourist attraction and a perfect space for swimming, boating (electric and sailing boats), windsurfing, pedalo or canoe-kayak.
The village of Sainte Croix(Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon), located at an altitude of 513m, overlooks the lake from a rocky outcrop. A charming town in which to stroll, Sainte Croix is made up of pretty typical houses, a 16th century church and the remains of a medieval castle.
