In this video, we will be demonstrating how the ITECH IT2700 series Multi-channel Modular Power System can be used to test a DC-to-DC converter.
One channel will be used to supply the DC supply voltage to the DC to DC converter. A second channel will be used to simulate the load on the DC-to-DC converter output. With this system, the output of the DC-to-DC converter can be tested to its limits, or even overloaded to see what happens to the converter when an unexpected load draws too much current from the converter.
This IT2700 series Multi-channel Modular Power System is an essential piece of test equipment for anyone designing their own DC-to-DC converters or that uses DC-to-DC converters in their products.
