In this presentation, we will discuss legal obligations that impact the administration of a collective bargaining agreement in local government. Additionally, we will review basic administrative responsibilities of an agency in administering a union contract. Your collective bargaining agreement, along with the applicable law, will then govern the relationship between the agency, the exclusive representative, and the bargaining unit members, as well as outline the wages and terms and conditions of employment for the bargaining unit members.
