2023-08-26—The “wanderfuls,” sans our “wander” mom, are in Ayala Malls in Makati City for some errands. On this particular day they chanced upon “Mindscapes” exhibition at the Ayala Museum.

They’ve been to the Ayala Museum a long time ago so they don’t really pay attention to it anymore wherever they pass by the area. A couple of things caught their attention this time around however. Displayed on the transparent glass frontage are the words “FREE ADMISSION” in big bold letters. And inside the lobby, visible from the outside, are several artworks — paintings and sculptures — on display, and they all look very visually appealing.

Ayala Museum is opening its doors to the “Mindscapes” exhibition for free until October 29, 2023. The exhibition features the winning pieces from the Shell National Students Art Competition. The exhibition is accessible via the Landmark-Greenbelt pedestrian overpass on the second floor of the museum.

By the way, the Free Admission is for the Mindscapes exhibition only. Admission to the full museum to access all exhibitions is 650 pesos (regular) or 350 pesos (discounted).

Ayala Museum is open Wednesdays to Sundays from 10am to 6pm.
