Pindapata - Monk alms round morning walks - Local alms giving to Monks
Monks go out for alms round in the morning around 6-7am, around the street near Thai Monastery. They walked in a straight single line, the most senior monk first and always barefoot.
Today is a special day for many proud parents, the local Monastery having many young novice monks joining this morning "Pindapata" for the first time.
Young novice monks will remain at the Monastery for any time between one week and three months.
