Did you know that there are around 300 different sign languages 🤟 in the world?

In Singapore, the deaf communicate in their native sign language, Singapore Sign Language (SgSL). This language is a blend of Shanghainese Sign Language (SSL), American Sign Language (ASL), Signing Exact English (SEE) and locally developed signs.

Jorena, who is deaf, teaches a few simple phrases in SgSL:
1. How are you?
2. I am fine
3. Thank you

These signs are very beginner-friendly that people of all ages can pick it up without any difficulty.
