IVF or In Vitro fertilization is one of the many techniques that can help people with fertility problems and can help them to conceive a child. It is a process in which an egg is fertilized by a sperm outside of the human body.

In IVF, a sample of the sperm is taken to check the quality of the sperm and the DNA inside it. The chances of the child being male or female are 50% each. Then eggs are taken in a lab from the woman when she is in medically-induced unconsciousness which lasts from 10-15 minutes.
The sperm sample taken on the same day is introduced here and is mixed with the eggs and the process of making an embryo is started. The embryos are then transferred to the female body around day 3 and the process is done when the recipient is awake.
