These chips are a great healthy snack for the whole family. Enjoy!
Kale chips
1/2 bunch of kale, stems removed
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp dijon
1 tbsp tahini
1/2 tsp garlic granules
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
Optional:
1/2 tsp salt or to taste
Instructions:
Wash and remove the center stems from the kale and break into large pieces.
In a bowl combine the lemon juice, dijon, tahini, garlic, and smoked paprika mix to combine. Pour the mixture over the kale and mix to combine. Sprinkle the kale with nutritional yeast and mix. Spread the coated kale evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 225 F for 1 hour. Mix and flip every 10-15 minutes and more often towards the end of the baking time. Enjoy!
Beet chips
3 beets
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp garlic granules
1/4 tsp onion granules
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
Optional:
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Wash and peel the beets. Slice the beets as thin and evenly as possible (2mm).
Mix the sliced beets with lemon juice and seasoning. Place the beet slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet taking care not to overlap them. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 F for 2.5 hours flipping every 20 mins until dry and crisp. Chips will crisp more once they’re cooled. Enjoy!
