La constante ola de violencia y restricciones ejercidas por el aparato represor de la dictadura de Daniel Ortega ha puesto a Nicaragua “en el centro de las preocupaciones internacionales”, de acuerdo a Alberto Brunori, representante para Centroamérica de la Oficina del Alto Comisionado de las Naciones Unidas para los Derechos Humanos.
“Cada día, cada mes que pasa, la situación se complica más, porque las violaciones se acumulan y prácticamente no se ve una vía de salida. Las fórmulas de represión parece que se están ampliando, ensanchando, pero ¿hasta dónde? ¿Hasta dónde se piensa llegar con esas fórmulas de limitación de las libertades?”, se preguntó Brunori, en una entrevista para el programa Esta Semana.
El especialista señaló que existe un claro consenso entre la comunidad internacional sobre la gravedad de la crisis de derechos humanos y violación de las garantías constitucionales en Nicaragua, incluso en aquellos países que no condenan abiertamente al régimen orteguista.
