The PSA 1.2 puretech engine is fitted to many vehicles. Mainly Peugeot, Citroen and fords.

It has what is known as a Wet Timing belt, meaning the belt is driven internally, not externally as more common place. Meaning it is encased and lubricated in engine oil.

This a relatively new new method used by vehicle manufacturers. The idea being it should last longer. You can judge for yourself after watching this video.
