Choosing a name for your Etsy business (or other business) is one of the most important steps when first starting your shop. This will be the name and presence that defines your store and will stick with you for a long time. You want to make sure you choose the right name to begin with because once you are established, it's very hard to run a rebranding campaign and keep your existing fanbase.

You should never rush into naming your Etsy business. It's important to sit down and think long and hard about what you want to commit to. You don't want to funnel yourself into too narrow of a niche or find a name that is too broad and indistinguishable. Finding the perfect balance of niche and uniqueness is key!

There are also a few things to think about when naming your Etsy shop. Do you want to make it something new and unique or keep it simple with just your personal name? Either way you go is great! Just keep in mind, if you name your business a new word, you will have to spend some extra money to build up brand awareness. (Kinda like what I have to do with "Wallamoose" - something that doesn't directly related to e-commerce)
