- **Ram Janmabhoomi**:- This is the most important and sacred site in Ayodhya, as it is believed to be the exact spot where Lord Rama was born. A grand temple dedicated to Rama is being constructed here, after a long legal dispute over the ownership of the land. The temple is expected to be completed by 2025. Devotees can offer prayers and seek blessings from Rama at this holy place.


- **Hanuman Garhi**:- This is a 10th-century temple dedicated to Hanuman, the loyal devotee and companion of Rama. It is located on a hill near the Ram Janmabhoomi. It is said that Hanuman lived here to protect Ayodhya from any danger. The temple has a flight of 76 steps leading to the main shrine, where a statue of Hanuman holding a mountain is worshipped.


- **Kanak Bhawan**:- This is a beautiful palace-like temple that was gifted to Sita by her mother-in-law Kaushalya, when she married Rama. The temple is also known as Sone-ka-Ghar (House of Gold), as it is adorned with gold ornaments and decorations. The temple has idols of Rama and Sita wearing gold crowns and jewellery.


- **Nageshwarnath Temple**:- This is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, who is also known as Nageshwara (Lord of Snakes). It was built by Kush, the son of Rama, who lost his armlet in the Sarayu river and found it in the possession of a Nag Kanya (snake princess), who fell in love with him. The temple has a lingam (symbol of Shiva) that was worshipped by the Nag Kanya.


- **Gulab Bari**:- This is a garden of roses that surrounds the tomb of Nawab Shuja-ud-Daula, the third Nawab of Awadh (Oudh), who ruled from 1754 to 1775. He was a patron of arts and culture, and built many monuments in Faizabad, the former capital of Awadh. His tomb is an example of Mughal architecture, with domes, arches, and minarets.


- **Treta Ke Thakur**:-This is a temple that marks the spot where Rama performed the Ashvamedha Yajna (horse sacrifice) after his return from exile. The temple has idols.
