His ears are purple, his paws are pink,
He’s the cutest ship captain—don’t you think?
The color book sat untouched on the ground,
But who paints inside the lines all around?
Instead, the fridge got a shiny new coat,
And the toaster now wears a red racing boat.
Mom walked in, her face turned red,
"Why’s the ceiling painted instead?"
The fan spun round, a messy swirl,
Spreading colors like a crazy whirl!
Dad came next, his jaw on the floor,
“Is that... a castle on the door?”
"Yep," I grinned, “and there’s much more to see,
Look, the sofa’s a coral reef under the sea!”
We laughed and laughed, it was so much fun,
Though cleaning up? That was less than done!
It took some soap, a mop, and a spray,
But we’ll remember this colorful day.
So grab your brush, don’t wait, don’t think,
The world’s your canvas—just use washable ink!
