We often get asked, how do our typical video shootings look like. To answer that question let me invite you to take a peek into a run’n’gun shooting that we did in collaboration with @Digistore24 and @Canon Austria for the electronic musical festival @Beatpatrol.at in Wien, Austria. Before the beginning of this truly banging indoor electronic festival, we needed to shoot a short promotional intro that nicely introduces one of the main hosts of the festival. One of the client’s requests was also to include a taste of the Beatpatrol official merchandise in some of the shots. I’ve always liked the run’n’gun approach without sacrificing the quality of the final product. Despite owning several different brands of cameras in our rental service, the decision to go with the Canon cinema line of cameras was almost a given. Canon Cinema EOS line combines the best of both worlds - the mobility and flexibility required by modern video production with high image quality on tight schedules. This unique combo is something not many brands can brag about.
This short intro used 2 cinema cameras (EOS C300 Mark III and Canon EOS C70) and one Canon still camera (EOS 5D Mark IV). Capturing action, movement, energy, and unique vibrations into a series of stunning videos and images becomes so much fun when you can simply rely on great cinema equipment to fully support your end vision and your client’s needs. #canon
