Located at the Superior Entry to the Duluth-Superior Harbor, the Wisconsin Point Cam is perfectly located to catch the large and small craft as they move through the Canal.
The view of Lake Superior from Wisconsin Point cam is a breathtaking panorama of nature's grandeur. Located on the edge of the canal, one is greeted by the vast expanse of shimmering blue waters stretching out to the horizon, framed by the canal. The lake's tranquil surface reflects the golden rays of the sun, creating a mesmerizing play of light and shadow. The view evokes a sense of awe and serenity, reminding visitors of the immense beauty and power of Lake Superior.
This camera is made possible with help from the Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center, and the many viewers who so generously support these cameras.
Operational Notes:
-Once the bow of the boat enters the canal, the camera signal will be lost until the boat is passed by the camera, then it will turn back on. This is due to the boats being taller than the pole that the antenna is located on.
