Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned Ukraine of a "worthy response" following its largest incursion into Russian territory since the start of the war in 2022. Ukrainian forces pushed through the Russian border last week, taking control of about 1,000 square kilometers in the Kursk region. Russia has responded by deploying additional troops to the area, with heavy military equipment being moved to contain the Ukrainian forces.
