The gentlemen over at Samsung two-day mailed one of their all-new Samsung Powerbot Essential Robot Vaccums; right to my doorstep. A big thanks to their generous spirit!

Needless to say, I was more than excited to review, compare and put it to the ultimate test! With a large breed Polish hound dog who sheds more than you can ever imagine, this vacuum wouldn’t have it easy.

When I first opened the box, the graphite silver finish caught my eye with the ultra-modern and sleek style. However, the real magic happened once I let it clean the floor. I was literally swept away by the technology this lightweight robot vacuum packs!

For being cordless with a lithium-ion battery, I was not expecting the suction to be so powerful. In the video review, you’ll see how much pet hair and carpet dirt it picked up, a lot! Yet, I didn’t stop there; I put it to the test against the Dyson Animal DC 41 vacuum.

To my surprise, it picked up 15-20% more pet hair, dirt and dust from the carpet than the corded upright Dyson vacuum.

Keep in mind in the video, that’s not the entire house, or even a full room. It’s a small section of carpet, and you’re still seeing a huge chunk of dirt and pet hair swept up! (ps. I run the vacuum weekly, and the carpet is quite new)
