We built a greenhouse that was 48‘ x 25‘.
It has four different rows. Each row is about 4 wide walkways are about 2 foot wide. I rototilled the ground before I put any dirt in added my first layer of dirt and rototilled that into the native ground. Oh then add more good soil on top to make my rose high.
The posts are 10 foot tall 8 foot was sticking out of the ground and 2 foot in the concrete The boards on the very top are 12 foot long buted up to each other at each joint. Used half inch PVC going across the top with screws connecting it to each part of the 2 x 4
The walls are just standard 8” 2x4 tried to do the least amount of cutting on them and reused the little pieces we would cut off because the walls were only 6 foot high 8 foot long we cut a sheet of particleboard in three different pieces to put it at the very bottom of the wall to give it more strings in so we could attach the plastic to later
The clear plastic is stretched very tired and held on with 1“ x 3“ boards
Black plastic ended up being huge but pulled over very easy started with the front once I got that down went along the side of it pulling it as I walked in till I got to the other end of the greenhouse we picked up very strong black plastic specially made for greenhouses so it would not rip
All the lumber came from Home Depot the plastic I was able to get a hold of a local place in Sacramento that sells greenhouse building supplies. Ended up taking about 30 yards of dirt could’ve even used a lot more.
I picked up box fans for the floor and for the top of the greenhouse on both sides also put a couple extra fans
Ran 4 1000 W bulbs in the center and LED shop lights on the side
