Thai fried rice can be found in any Thai restaurant; it's a staple. Try this simple dish and you'll surprise how much flavour is in this dish.
*I normally cook for 2 portions at a time, but I highly recommend you cook only one portion at a time to avoid cooking it too long and it will make rice too soggy. Also check out my other video on how to make rice for fried rice.

Ingredients (serves 1):
1) Garlic: 1 clove
2) Rice: 3/4 cup of cooked rice *use left over rice
3) Spring onion: 2 stalks
4) Tomato: half tomato (1/4 for cooking and 1/4 for eaten uncooked) *Optional
5) Onion: 1/6 of an onion *Optional
6) Shrimp: 8 pieces for my case (small).
7) Vegetable oil: 1 & 1/2 tablespoon total, 1/2 first then 1 tbsp.
8) Egg: 1 egg
9) Oyster sauce: 1/2 tablespoon
10) Soy sauce: 1/2 tablespoon
11) Fish sauce: 1/2 tablespoon
12) Sugar: tip of teaspoon (or as much as you like)
13) Black pepper powder to taste
