NEWS UPDATE on PET-FRIENDLY RENTING:
In January 2020, the Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick has called on landlords to make it easier for responsible pet owners to allow animals to live in their homes.

The government's model tenancy contracts will be revised to remove restrictions on pets to make it easier for rentals to bring well-behaved animals into their properties. More here: [ Ссылка ]

RENTING WITH PETS:
When renting with pets, it's assumed they cause damage to a property or annoy the neighbours. It’s easy to see why avoiding the hassle might be a more attractive option for a landlord. But pet owners tend to be more responsible and want long-term tenancies. So, renting with pets isn’t impossible but it’s definitely trickier!
