A local court on Saturday granted Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's aide Bibhav Kumar five-day police custody in connection with the alleged assault on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal.
Earlier on Saturday, Kumar was arrested by the police after his anticipatory bail plea was rejected by a Delhi court.
He was later produced before the metropolitan Magistrate Gaurav Goyal, who granted five-day police custody of him.
