Good morning and welcome to today's UK weather forecast for Friday 28th May 2021.
Today: A weather system will bring cloud and outbreaks of rain to the west with some heavy bursts possible for parts of Wales especially. The rain should turn lighter and patchier this afternoon. Many other places will stay dry but there will be a few light showers in places. There's going to be more cloud then yesterday but the south east especially should have some sunny spells. Temperatures will range from 10C to 19C.
Tonight: Rain dies out in the west and south west with most places becoming dry. There will be quite a lot of cloud but temperatures should be quite mild with temperatures holding up in double digits in the south.
Tomorrow: After quite a cloudy start especially in the west we should see increasing bright or sunny spells developing for the afternoon though scattered showers could break out across Scotland and northern England. A warm day with temperatures of 14C to 21C.
Outlook: Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday look mainly dry with increasing sunshine. Temperatures will become very warm especially in the south.
