It was here that I had my very first "Ramen Jiro" experience! I had had no idea what I was getting myself into...Jiro serves massive bowls that are a delicious, greasy mess ⁠

It was wonderful revisiting this particular Jiro shop...everything looks exactly the same on the inside⁠
I specifically remember back in the day seeing the master mixing the soup in a tank top while the US armed forces radio network station "Eagle 810" was playing in the background ⁠

Pork bone (tonkotsu) soup with soy sauce, a lot of pork fat, bean sprouts, garlic, and extra pork toppings...all the Jiro trimmings ⁠

I haven't eaten that much Jiro in the last twenty years but I have to say that this ramen style that it's grown on me
