The Seeger family uses solar power with the SMA hybrid inverter in an integrated way, around the clock. They use it for heating, electricity and mobility. Steffen Brandt from Energiesysteme Groß installed the SMA Energy System Home for the Seegers with the Sunny Tripower Smart Energy. It combines solar and battery inverters into one device. This storage system gives the family greater independence from grid-supplied power and now also provides a reliable supply even in the event of grid failure thanks to the integrated battery-backup function.
