Tennis Australia has revamped the lead-in schedule for the Australian Open to help players who've been stuck in hard lockdown.
72 players are currently completing 14 days of quarantine without being allowed out to train.
In order to aid their preparations, an extra WTA 500 event has been added specifically for female players caught up in that situation.
On the men's side, the two ATP events have been pushed back 24 hours, as has the ATP Cup.
That will now start on February 2.
Those 72 players will also be given priority access to training facilities, gyms and ice baths.
