STAR guest Zeenat Aman spoke to acv on the red carpet at the opening of the 21st UK Asian Film Festival (also known formerly as Tongues on Fire and the London Asian Film Festival). It was a glittering opening at the May Fair Hotel in one of London's most exclusive enclaves. Aman, once popularly known as #ZeenieBaby, had some advice for women trying to make it - we also hear from Mayur Katariya, the director and writer of film, Ek Aasha, which covers the subject of transgender in India. ACV hosts a special reception for the film on March 29 at the Regent Street Cinema in London, as part of the festival. We also interview Paul Chowdhry (comedian), Sriram Raja (director 'Half Songs'), Prashant Kapoor (actor 'Boogie Man' and known to us as 'Monsieur Cannes' (see our FB channel May 2018), Navjot Randhawa (actor 'Mehsampur'), Shoaib Lokhandwala (producer 'Hamid' {opening film}. 'KD', 'Noblemen' and 'Victor's House'), and Dr Pushpinder Chowdhry MBE, founder and director of the UK Asian Film Festival and Samir Bhamra, creative director of the UK Asian Film Festival.
Momtaz Begum-Hossain was the presenter for acv; BBC's Raj and Pablo appear briefly too.
The film was shot on March 27 at the May Fair Hotel in London.
