Bait is the most critical piece of the puzzle when you go fishing. Secure your winter bait source during the fall so that you can have fun all winter and spring. Parboiling sand fleas helps to preserve them so they will last and you can even refreeze them when you get back from a trip and use them again. This bait is best when the water cools down into the 60's during December through March when the trash fish stop biting. Catch Sheepshead, Black Drum, Red Drum, and Tautog at bridges and jetties.
