Ferrari 458 and 488 Pista Carbon Fibre Mirror Issues - The review shows the quality and explains the difficulty experienced during the fitment of the Capristo-made carbon fibre door mirrors to the Ferrari 488 Pista.
Capristo say the same carbon mirrors fit both 458 and 488 just the same.
Whilst visually the carbon mirrors look identical the fit is nowhere near as good as the OE mirrors.
The locating tabs inside the mirror were also very soft and too large to refit the cast alloy OE internals.
Scuderia Car Parts UK were not keen on taking my word for it that the fit was poor and declined a refund after several email exchanges.
