Hundreds of billions of dollars in taxpayer dollars funnelled to the Pentagon every year, and there is a small group of people in the United States that personally profit from war and any armed conflict, including recent Russian invasion of Ukraine.
About 30% of all Pentagon contracts in recent years - have gone to just five major corporations. Including Lockheed Martin, which received $75 billion from Pentagon in 2020, which is more than the entire budget for the State Department, which is $44 billion.
Along with the money given to contractors for services provided, there is room for fraud, waste, and overcharging by companies for these services.
This is KBR - a company that received many contracts from the US military during the world war 2, vietnam war, and the iraq war. KBR is linked to $13 billion in war zone fraud cases. However KBR still received million dollars in government contracts.
It is estimated that waste, fraud and abuse had totalled between $31 billion and $60 billion.
The system that these war profiteers have created and the amount of influence they have over the government is insane and allows these individuals to make millions, and sometimes, billions of dollars each month.
So let me introduce you to the list of war profiteers that make billions in a very ugly way, involving weapon smuggling, overcharging the government, and even using performance enhancing drugs for soldiers.
Blackwater have been the recipient of billions of dollars for different contracts. Like when they provided security services during the hurricane Katrina to protect government buildings and charged the government $240,000 per day or for one contract that totalled $1 billion to protect U.S. officials in conflict zones.
But Blackwater doesn’t want you to know what they are known for in Iraq...
