The Jakarta administration suspended Car Free Day (CFD) again following the event’s revival on June 21, which attracted large crowds and raised concerns over new COVID-19 infections.
According to kompas.com, the city’s transportations agency head, Syafrin Liputo, confirmed the CFD suspension on Wednesday but declined to reveal the reasons behind the decision. (JP/Donny Fernando)
