In a shocking development being reported from Maharashtra, it has been alleged that the Nirbhaya fund, which was meant to be used to fight crime against women in the state, was misused by the government and was used to escort MPs and MLAs of the ruling Maharashtra Government. This has raged a political controversy in the state with the opposition leaders accusing Eknath Shinde of misgovernance. Shiv Sena leader of Uddhav Faction Aaditya Thackeray took to his Twitter handle over this and write, "This is a disgrace.
