Emergency and disaster management teams remain on high alert for more flooding in Gauteng. There's been persistent rain since last week and parts of Centurion, Mamalodi East, Tembisa and Alexandra are under water.
Yesterday, divers and emergency services workers rushed to Mamelodi east of Pretoria to search for people feared to have been swept away by the Moretele river.
In Johannesburg many roads including the M2 highway were flooded. To give us an update on how they are handling the situation, I'm joined in studio by City of Johannesburg Emergency Services Spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi.
