This is my Mamod ~ MSR 0-6-0 continental convertion locomotive. This is a kit that I obtained from Terry Shirley of MSR (Miniature Steam Railways) in Arlington, Texas USA. Sadly this was a kit that was never produced and I was lucky enough to get hold of the essential componants in order to build this engine. Originally a Mamod SL2, this loco has been fitted with MSR cylinders, MSR cab extentions, MSR tender, MSR coupling rods, MSR cab roof, Roy Wood in cab regulator, Roy Wood displacement lubricator, Roy Woor spoked wheel sets (modified for this application) and a scratch built alcohol burner and tank made by myself.
