Warangal in Telangana state has been included in the new list of 13 smart cities announced on Tuesday. Warangal has improved by 13 percent in quality parameters to become eligible for Smart City Mission. The new capital city of Andhra Pradesh Amaravati, which is among seven capital cities left out of Smart City mission, is qualified to participate in the competition.
