In this video, Logee's horticulturist and third generation owner, Byron Martin, discusses the Noni Fruit plant (Morinda citrifolia). An immensely popular fruit in the natural health movement, the fruit juices of the noni fruit are said to have healed everything from cancer to diabetes. A Southeast Asian native, the strongly scented fruit is not palatable to the western tongue, yet is eaten regularly in various parts of Asia. The Noni plant will begin flowering at about 2-3' tall, and it will fruit continuously once it’s mature. Easy-to-grow and tolerant to varying cultural conditions, it makes a great potted plant with broad deep green leaves and an upright habit. Grow in full to partial sun.
