Electrostatic disinfecting is a way of quickly and evenly coating a surface with a disinfecting solution. This is done by using an electrostatic applicator that gives a negative charge to the disenfecting solution as it exists the nozzle. Disinfect using a hospital grade disinfectant (low-level disinfectant) that has virucidal and bactericidal properties and a drug identification number. A drug identification number confirms the product is approved for use in Canada.

Follow manufacturer’s instructions for use of the disinfectant including contact time, expiration date, use of personal protective equipment and pre-cleaning requirements
