Dividing plants or even moving them can seem scary, after all, we're always told to be careful, don't disturb roots. But with established plants not only can you handle them a little more but sometimes you really need to be brutal and split them into two or three in order to help them thrive. So today we are dividing a large oregano plant into three (hurrah free plants), dividing sage into two plants and moving some errant thyme. All to tidy up and manage the herb bed that's gotten a bit crowded. That will also give me space to plant out my dill and parsley.
