Today on our 2015 Toyota Sienna we're going to be doing a test fit of the Inno Fork Lock III which is going to be your rooftop mounted bike carrier for 1 single bike to be fork-mounted. It's going to be part number INA391 and it's going to come in that nice silver aluminum finish. We're going to show you how it mounts up here on top of our raised factory roof rails with the factory crossbars. First step we're going to need to do is go ahead and unlock and pull off the top cover. That'll give us access to this little lever here which will allow the bottom clamp to come around and undo so we can get around that front crossbar. On the backside here, this one simply just slides on. If you can see the groove there it'll slide on to that bolt and allow us to clamp it on that way.
We'll go ahead and undo this one and rotate it so way can get it around that back bar. Go ahead and slide that front piece underneath just like so and make sure that the back one has a bolt in front and the plate behind. From there we'll get a little bit of elevation and get up on top. Let's attach that front one first. To do so, we'll pull that plate up against the bottom, rotating this bolt underneath. This'll give us the ability to clamp it down.
You may need to tighten it up a little bit. To do so there's going to be that nut on the bottom side of that bolt and we're just going to screw it up towards the bottom of the plate. Once we have it nice and tight we'll be able to close that down and it'll be secure. We'll go ahead and leave the front cap open so we have access to that front skewer and fork lock. On the backside here, we'll slide that bolt underneath and back to where the plate meets up underneath.
Then we'll just tighten down these 2 wingnuts. You want to make sure that you get these fairly tight. That way you won't have any sliding, jarring, or adjusting while your bike's on here and you're driving down the road. As you can see that's going to be nice and sturdy and ready for your bike. Next step we're going to do is go ahead and undo that rear strap for that rear wheel. Go ahead and pull it out by pressing the 2 levers on either side.
One's going to adjust how long the strap is and the other one will allow you to put the strap in and take it out. On the front here, we're going to make sure we have the skewer unlocked or in the unlock position. You can see that that plate's going to move in when we close that up which will actually put tension on and close the forks in between. Let's grab our bike. When you grab your bike and you're putting it up on the top of your vehicle you always want to make sure you get a nice, low grip on your bike like so. This will allow you to have maneuverability once you get it up on top of the vehicle. Place the back tire on the cradle and then the front forks in the skewer like so. Then we'll go ahead and close this up. Once we have it adjusted to meet tightly. If you noticed, that did move around so that means we didn't have that tight enough. All we need to do is tighten up that nut on the bottom side a little more. Sometimes it may seem like it's tight and then when you put it on, it isn't all the way tight enough. Now that's going to be tight enough and secure as you can see. You'll be able to close this down and secure it in place. That front cap will come over and close around that front lock just like so. You won't be able to secure and lock that so nobody will be able to tamper and get to our bike. On the backside here we'll go ahead and space out our wheel so that our spokes have an equal amount of distance between them so we can pass through our strap. The reason it has the adjuster so you can adjust the length of the strap is so that it's not all down on top of the paint on the vehicle so it doesn't get scratched. You can pull down both side equally so you have a nice amount of distance between the top of your vehicle and the rack. Just pull that down until it quits clicking. Once it's secure you're ready to hit the road with your all new Inno Fork Lock III, part number INA391 on our 2015 Toyota Sienna. Let's see how it does on our test course. Here you see it out on our test course. First is the slalom which shows the side-to-side action to simulate turning corners or evasive maneuvers. Next are the alternating speed bumps which show you the twisting action such as hitting a pot hole, road debris, or going over a curb
