After a few intense weeks of working on Spanish property sales and listings I decided to stop trying to get to the end of my to do list and have a weekend off. Finally I visited the place of those lovely pictures I had seen of a little street running down the centre of the village streets of Pampaneira, I dragged my friend along too, we had a lovely time.
Our little journey went as follows. First stop was Pampaneira where we spent all day Friday then to Trevélez for overnight stay. Saturday we left Alpujarras and went to Ugíjar where we watched the procession of the virgin at the towns anual feria followed by an overnight stay in Casa Maldonado in Yátor then back to Alpujarras on Sunday visiting Bubion, Capileira and Soportújar.

This area is two hours from my home and place of work so I have no properties here I'm afraid. However I hope that you have enjoyed seeing another part of Spain. I live and work in the very centre of Andalucia so its ideal for travelling regularly to different cities and areas. I think my next trip will be to Orgiva so watch this space.
