Jetour's new "square box" SUV could be called the T1 and could be considered a mass-produced version of the earlier model. Shanhai TL concept car will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of 1.5TGDI hybrid engine + electric motor + 1DHT.

It was found that the Shanhai T1 and Shanhai TL concept cars differ only in details. The main difference is that the upper grille has been changed to a dot matrix square grille and the car logo has been carried over. The four-point daytime running lights on both sides of the grille, from the nose to the middle of the front of the hood, have a superior technological performance. There are no changes to the front bumper, and tough-looking mudguards and independent fog lights complete the solidity.

The side of the car body has a standard "square box" shape with a flat roof passage intersected by the parallelogram D-pillar, and the rear window also has a slight rise, highlighting the unique design sense of the Jietu brand. Additional protrusions on the front and rear fenders of the vehicle, combined with black wheel arches wider than the body and high ground clearance, once again reflect the rigid design. In addition, the new car uses traditional door handles, and the roof is equipped with an original luggage rack, which is very practical.

At the rear of the car, there is a small spoiler on the roof and high-mounted brake lights. The taillight cluster has a quadrangular structure and has four-point light sources distributed on both sides of the trunk lid, echoing in the light cavity. The trunk lid uses a conventional top-opening door and does not have the "small schoolbag" shape, which indicates a different position from the traveler. The rear bumper protrudes from the body, completing the rigid design.

In terms of dimensions, the vehicle's length, width and height are 4705/1967/1837mm respectively, and its wheelbase is 2800mm, and it is in the compact SUV market. In terms of launch time, the fuel-powered version is planned to be launched in the first quarter of 2025, while the plug-in hybrid version will have to wait until the fourth quarter of 2025.

In terms of power, the fuel version is undoubtedly the 1.5TGDI or 1.6TGDI engine. The plug-in hybrid version will be equipped with Chery Kunpeng Super Hybrid C-DM technology, consisting of 1.5TGDI hybrid special engine + electric motor + 1DHT transmission.
