This week I'm sharing my latest make, a pair of super easy to sew shorts that use very little fabric and are a great last minute project if you're in a panic for your holidays! Vogue 9319 is a lovely simple shorts sewing pattern with a wide, shaped waistband and loose fitting at the hips and thighs. It also comes with a trouser version and two chic tie front tops, one with long sleeves and one with flutter sleeves. The linen viscose mix Lady McElroy fabric was a joy to sew with and worked perfectly for this pattern thanks to the lovely drape and movement. It sewed, pressed and washed beautifully. I'd also like to get around to making the trousers and one of the tops, wide leg trousers are so on trend at the moment. In the video I'll talk about the sizing of the pattern, the fact I had to make zero adjustments and how lovely and simple the construction was. I will definitely go back to this pattern again and hope to whizz up another pair before my next trip in the Autumn. As always you can find everything I mentioned in the video linked below.
