Don’t let rain ruin your vacation in Kyoto!
It may rain during your stay in Kyoto, especially in the rainy season (the beginning of summer), however, there are some nice indoor activities!

Kyoto Station isn't just a place to catch trains. It has hundreds of shops, restaurants and cafes, all under a vast roof, so the station can serve as a good rainy day destination.

You can actually explore the Skyway catwalks high above the station floor with an absolutely gorgeous view of the city. It is accessible via the 11th floor of the Isetan building.

If it’s not raining too much, you can also go to the beautiful rooftop garden🤍

On a rainy day, you don’t even have to leave the station to have fun.
