Lippincott Pass is one of the trails in Death Valley I've been wanting to try. We had arrived in DV on the day before and took in some of the 49ers events, then drove out to Homestake dry campsite near the Racetrack. The road going out was in the worst condition I've ever seen it in, near the Racetrack we had small hail drop on us and the overnite temperature dropped to 24F. My rig is a 2007 F250 supercab/6.0 PSD 4x4 carrying a 2002 Lance 815 camperPlease excuse the low resolution of the video, we had some trouble with the camera.
