There are many methods out there but this is the easiest way to solve the Square-1. There are mainly 2 algorithms and 1 algorithm for parity.

I said in the video that you need to know how to solve the regular Rubik's cube but if you know the basic movements + notations of the Square-1, you don't need to know how to solve the other puzzles!

0:00 - Intro

0:15 - Notations
"J-Perm" algorithm: /(0,3)/(0,-3)/(0,3)/(0,-3)/

STEP 1
2:37 - Turn Square-1 into a Cube
Shape algorithm: /(2,4)/(1,2)/(-3,-3)/
Fix center block: /(6,0)/(6,0)/

STEP 2
5:31 - Orient Corners
Make sure to always offset by 1 when doing a slice

STEP 3
6:28 - Orient Edges
M2 Algorithm: (1,0)/(-1,-1)/(0,1)
Orient Edges: (1,0)/(-3,0)/(-1,-1)/(3,1)/
Scenario 1: 6:58
Scenario 2: 7:28
Scenario 3: 8:05

STEP 4
8:42 - Permute Top layer
"J-Perm" algorithm: /(0,3)/(0,-3)/(0,3)/(0,-3)/
Switch top/bottom layers: /(6,6)/

STEP 5
9:35 - Permute Bottom layer

STEP 6
11:30 - Parity
Parity: /(-3,0)/(0,3)/(0,-3)/(0,3)/(2,0)/(0,2)/(-2,0)/(4,0)/(0,-2)/(0,2)/(-1,4)/(0,-3)/(0,3)

Fix center block AND flip top/bottom layers: /(6,0)/(0,6)/
