The Japanese Yen is depreciating a lot against USD, one of the main reason is because BOJ insists on keeping their low rate while global central bank is raising rate. With higher rate elsewhere, investors especially foreign investors would like to sell off their Yen and convert to other currencies and invest the money at other place with higher return! This has prompted Japanese Yen to fall dramatically. Besides that, with Federal reserve hawkish stance on monetary policy, we can expect more depreciation of Japanese Yen shall BOJ still maintain the same.
