Cleophas Malala was been ousted as Senate Deputy Minority Leader. He has been replaced with Kilifi Senator Stewart Madzayo.
The Kakamega Senator has been involved in a lot of drama lately, especially during by-elections. He has also been heavily criticizing President Uhuru Kenyatta government.
Senator Malala fate is similar to what happened to DP Ruto allies.
This was done by ODM party senators, who endorsed petition to eject the close ally of Musalia Mudavadi.
This is a sign that the NASA coalition is ending, signaling wrangles between Raila Odinga and Musalia.
Mudavadi has lately been working closely with Kalonzo Musyoka, Gideon Moi and Moses Wetangula.
