On this years July 4th 2016 celebration, happened on Friday July 1st, in St. Louis MO at Jefferson Barracks Amphitheater.
The United States Air Force Band of Mid-America - Roots in Blue Band were kind enough to play live for thousands of people who were there not only to hear there fantastic music but to say Thank You to all of our Servicemen and Servicewomen past and current. Fun was had by all that attended, The famous Food Trucks were of course all in line for a great diversified choice of food for everyone plus a huge BBQ Pit was put into action for those wanting to get a fresh hamburger or hot dog and donate the money for good causes.
I (Mike Bippen) had the pleasure of meeting, photographing, and videoing each and everyone of these fine young musicians and I can say that it was a true pleasure to be there under the stars watching and listening to this great band celebrating this 4th of July.
I personally would like to thank them all for their service to our country, I am so very proud to stand beside them on this very special evening, it was a very proud time and I know everyone who attended had a great time. From all of the families to the food trucks that were on hand, we all thank the servicemen and servicewomen of The Band of Mid-America - Roots in Blue for their service and to all of our current and past servicemen and servicewomen to our country.
Last but not least we'd like to offer a big ol hearty St. Louis Thank you to The Roots in Blue Band for such an outstanding performance celebrating the 4th of July 2016, we look forward to seeing you again in 2017 and every year after!
