Mozambique's President, Filipe Nyusi met with presidential candidates who contested the October 9th election, and rejected the results. The leaders met at the presidential house in Maputo. However, its unclear whether the leader of the Optimistic Party for the Development of Mozambique, Venanco Mondlane, will participate virtually as he recently fled to country for Europe. Mozambique has experienced political instability since the announcement of the results.
